Wood between the legs

Okay I’m not much of a bike rider, I think I’d like to be and I do enjoy the riding – it’s the fixing up of the stupid things that really gets to me. Puncture, chain comes off = no thank you, I’d leave it on the side of the road rather than fix it. So having said that it’s unlikely I’ll be buying one of these at this price (or any price actually), but I did pass a guy riding one on the way home tonight and I have to say: it looked pretty cool. So I looked it up online and found a nice little article by my favourite mag, WIRED. Mark McClusky writes a nice little piece about the experience of riding one, with more pictures and technical stuff I didn’t understand. For those of you interested it’s a Renovo R4.

    Awesome piece of work, I think that riding it would feel even better than it looks (I just ride a Felt) the big problem for someone like me is the price.. I’ll be completely out of their target market even though I really enjoy riding mine.
