Paper in Three Dimensions

Just as the Japanese and Chinese have known for many centuries now, we can all fall in love with the unique inventiveness of paper. At first glance, it would seem it was just for writing and drawing on or wrapping presents at Christmas time. After reading this exert from the book ‘The Art and Craft of Paper by Faith Shannon*.’ I am almost convinced that you will see that paper is just like design. Paper can be seen or treated as both functional and/or decorative. With paper the lines are merged. Experiment some more with paper and you will soon discover that you may have opened Pandora’s Box to the endless potentialities of paper!
